The SSI React Right Specialty Program, this is SSI’s emergency training program, consisting of the following basic components: Primary Assessment, First Aid & CPR Skills, Primary Stabilization Techniques, and includes two optional components: Oxygen Administration in Diving Emergencies and Automated External Defibrillation Basics. Students who complete this program earn the SSI React Right specialty certification.

First aid techniques are constantly being improved, making this course valuable to both new and experienced SSI React Right Providers.

This course has two parts. In part one, you will independently study the course materials and complete the knowledge review questions at your own pace, in whatever learning environment works best for you.

Part two is a skill development session with an SSI React Right Instructor where you will refine and demonstrate your new first aid skills in realistic, scenario-based settings. During this session you will have the opportunity to ask any unanswered questions and will complete a written exam.

After completing all course requirements, you will be certified as an SSI React Right Provider–a certification that will be valid for two years. This course is not intended to replace a full length Emergency Medical Instruction course (for EMT or higher qualifications).
